Privacy Policy
How JunkScout handles cookies, analytics, Google advertising, and privacy rights requests.
Who controls this site
JunkScout operates this directory and decides how browsing data, consent choices, and site operations are handled.
Cookies, analytics, and ads
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and ads; see Google's advertising technologies policy. Depending on your choices, JunkScout may use local storage, analytics cookies, referral-click events, page interaction data, and ad-related signals to understand traffic and support Google AdSense.
How information is used
Information is used for site operations, performance monitoring, abuse prevention, analytics, and advertising support. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through normal site browsing.
Google AdSense and other third parties
If you allow advertising cookies, JunkScout may load Google AdSense. Google and its partners may process browser data, device identifiers, IP-based location signals, and cookie information to serve or measure ads under their own privacy terms. JunkScout may also use hosting, security, and analytics providers that process technical data on our behalf.
Not every page view will show an ad, but AdSense-related code may be available when you consent to advertising cookies.
Consent choices
Use the site's Privacy choices control to accept, reject, or customize analytics and advertising cookies. You can also use the buttons below:
California and other US privacy rights
If you are covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act or another US state privacy law, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of personal information, including opting out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable. JunkScout honors opt-out requests made through the Do Not Sell or Share control and treats GPC browser signals as a do-not-sell/share request where required or supported.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If JunkScout serves ads in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google may require a certified consent management platform for Transparency and Consent Framework signals. JunkScout's site-level controls do not replace any certified CMP that may be required in those regions.
Data retention
JunkScout keeps operational and analytics information only as long as reasonably needed for reporting, debugging, compliance, and abuse prevention, then deletes or de-identifies it when practical.
Contact for privacy requests
Use the site's Privacy choices controls first for cookie, analytics, advertising, and do-not-sell/share requests. You can also email support@junkscout.io for privacy-related questions or requests. The same address is listed on /contact/.
